Cokes for a Cause

Located in Burke County, Waynesboro, Georgia. is the home of Burke Medical Center. The community has a population of about 5,816 people. One of the original eight counties in Georgia, folks lived in the area as early as 1783. It wasn’t until 1883 that it was introduced as the City of Waynesborough (though the name changed to Waynesboro sometime after).

Waynesboro has a rich history from the time of the Revolutionary War and even through the Civil War. This makes our community hospital as fiercely proud as our people. We love the City of Waynesboro and believe our services provide an important health and economic impact on the area. At Burke Medical Center, we actively participate in service projects and host charity events to further support community needs.
